Export/Backup to Word (or at least RTF)
First off, the app design is beautiful. I'd very much like to use it as my primary novel writing environment - but I can't until it offers an "Export to [Word/RTF]" option, ideally one that compiles the manuscript into a single document.
I appreciate that Shaxpir is backup up my files to the Cloud, but when we're talking about a 100K+ word novel, I'm not going to be comfortable with that being the only copy. I need to back it up on my USB drive, through Dropbox, and probably a couple of other places as well, in a format that I can read.
Also, I do my own paperback (and ebook) formatting, and there will come a point where the manuscript will have to leave Shaxpir in order to be formatted for publication. I don't relish the idea of copying 50+ chapters individually into a Word doc.
This feature was released on October 26, 2016, as part of Shaxpir 3.0. For more details, read the release notes here:

I am a published author. This MUST be able to be exportable as a .mobi file. Thanks.
I'd like to add my support to this suggestion. Some sort of export - or automatic backup of the files in RTF format is vital. I've been working with a writing software that didn't do that and something happened with the program and I can't open it up anymore. Until I can re-do my operating system and install everything cleanly, I'm unable to see my manuscript or work on my novel. This would have been avoided if the software had some sort of automatic backup of not just the project file, but of all the text into RTF, which I could access during a situation like this. :/

I agree. Inability to easily make a local backups is a no-go, no matter how good the program is otherwise.
Something I've worked on for months will never be backed up in only one service or location - redundancy is the key.

Strongly agree. None of us likes to use Word, but I find myself invariably having to export into it from Scrivener and other non-word writing options. The ability to do so without a lot of cutting and pasting would be a big plus.
