Support For Multiple Books Inside A Single Series
Shaxpir really shines when it comes to creating a single book and allowing you to add parts, chapters, characters, notes, connections, etc... However, there's no easy way to compile multiple books into a single series.
This would be a welcome addition, as currently there are only two ways of creating multiple books as a series:
[A] You can create all your books individually, sure, but then you must recreate all the characters, themes, items, connections, etc... for each one (assuming the different books revolve around a common set of characters/themes/items/etc). Also, this method does not allow you to create connections between the books, meaning that if book 1 is about a boy, and book 2 is about his sister, there's no way to link the boy in book 1 to his sister in book 2. Recreating everything is tedious, and being unable to create connections across books is limiting.
[B] On the other hand you could create the series AS the book, then create each of the individual books underneath the series (just like you create multiple parts/chapters for a single book). This works and keeps everything together, and also gets past the connections problem, but it also means your word counts are off (they're the sum total of all the books instead of just one book), and export functions will export all books instead of just one.
I wouldn't say this is a big deal, but adding the functionality would certainly make it easier to address writing books in series.
