Shaxpir Feature Ideas

Web-Based Login Access To Shaxpir
I think a subscription-based writing service would be more useful to me personally if you had a web login feature so you could use the program through the website (besides using the desktop app). That way, if you're unable to install the software onto a computer that's public access, you could still work on your projects -- say, college students working in a school library, folks working on computers owned by their employers that don't allow for installation of programs, etc. From the screenshots I've seen, Shaxpir reminds me of some of the functionality of Scrivener, but with some new…

Manual save
Manual save NEEDS to be an option. On regular word processor programs, I hit ctrl+s every few minutes. I just had a power flicker and the program closed unexpectedly, and it ONLY seems to save to the server if you close the program normally. That means entire writing sessions can be lost from one computer or power blunder.

We need to have an auto-save for the work we do everyday. I've just lost 50% of my work because my PC crashed. That's frustrating.
Auto-save constantly

Find and Replace
After a few chapters, I decided the name I chose for my MC didn't fit her as well as something else, but there's no find and replace to change all the previous versions of her name. Will have to do it afterwards.

Focus writing mode (full screen)
I am a fan of distraction-free writing modes such as Omni-writer and Calmly. Could there be a mode where the side bars on both sides disappear, leaving only the page I am working on.

Integration with Grammarly
While I'm all for you improving your existing spelling and grammar check, I'd love to have the option to integrate with my existing grammarly account so I get the manuscript grammar checking I'm used to, so it already incorporates my grammarly custom dictionary, and so that I grammarly does it's wonderful tracking!

Outline
Would be great to be able to paste in an outline for each chapter beneath the photos in the side panel. It would allow the writer to reference their outline while writing.

I’d like to be able to use it in my phone. I have it in my laptop and absolutely love it.
I love Shaxpir on my laptop, but sometimes I get ideas whenever I’m out and about. It would be good to be able to use the phone to write.

User-Defined Dictionary
An author may want to use particular spellings of words, as dialect, for instance, and may want to avoid having spell check find every instance of words it deems "wrong", when those were the intentions of the writer to have those words spelled in a particular way.

UK English as a language option. The spell check keeps highlighting the UK spelling of words. (EG. Colour/color.)
Add different language options on the spellcheck so I don't have a ton of highlighted errors that aren't actually errors.

Word frequency analyser
This would help writers not repeat pet phrases too much.

Will I be able to view my manuscript as a whole?
I would really like to have a manuscript view where the whole novel can be seen as a whole and complete entity to get a feel for how it reads.

Ability to colaborate
I do most of my work in collaboration with others. This is a great program, but it does me almost no good if I can't share it with someone even if they also have Shaxpir.

Connections should be "two way"
If I select item A and then add a connection to item B, the connection will show while I have item A selected. However, if I then select item B, there is no connection showing, which is not the case. By definition, if item A is connected to B, then B is connected to A.
If I select item B, and subsequently connect it to C, the A and C should show one connection each. However, item B should show two connections....one to A, and one to C.
To do otherwise could cause the author to miss an important connection…

be able to create a story timeline
To be able to create a graphic timeline of different storylines. A graphic timeline where I can create different color coded timeline for the main plot, each subplot, birth of character, death of a character, how many years past since this event etc... keep track of continuity.
